Waste Disposal at the Big River Landfill

Hours of operation:12 noon to 7 p.m.
Wednesday and Saturday

The landfill is closed and locked when attendant is not on duty.

Landfill tipping fees are as follows:

  • 1/2 ton load -- $5.00
  • 1 ton load -- $20.00
  • tandem load -- $30.00
  • semi load -- $60.00

  1. Burn Pile
    Only wood and cardboard can be burned. Nothing else.

  2. Metal Pile
    Appliances and all scrap metal.

  3. Compost
    All vegetable waste.
